As a result of this many schools issued public notices in the newspapers in which they asked the parents to come and take the refund. "These schools have been sent notices in the past, yet they are not complying. We have two options as per rules. Either take over the school or de-recognize them.

Notification released for the IIT JAM 2018 Notification for the Joint Admission Test (JAM) has been released by the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay.Candidates who are interested in pursuing their Master's from IITs and IISCs can apply from the same from the official website.The registration process for admissions into MSc (two-year), jointMSc-PhD, MSc-PhD dual degree and other post-bachelor's degree programs will begin from September 5 and will continue till October 10. 450 'careless' examiners of board papers face action in Punjab Chandigarh The Punjab government has decided to initiate action against 450 schoolteachers responsible for serious discrepancies in evaluation of Class 12 answer sheets in the state.
Now, students should get 50% marks instead of 35% in UG courses Hyderabad: Dept. of Education is seriously considering prescribing 50% minimum marks in semester examinations of undergraduate courses for seeking admissions in PG programs. If this rule is implemented, the students will face difficulties in pursuing higher studies. If they want to continue higher studies they have to reappear in the examinations to get 50% marks. Further, the students who do not secure 50% marks in any two consecutive semesters will not be promoted to next semester. 
Mumbai University is making all efforts to declare the result by August 31 The university's counsel Rui Rodrigues told a bench of justices Anoop V Mohta and Bharati Dangre that all the teachers of the university are working round the clock in order to declare the results by August 31.All the possible efforts are being made by the Mumbai University to complete the assessment of the papers.The university assured the Bombay High Court that it is making all the efforts to declare the results of the undergraduate courses on time. Statements from the university "We are trying our best to ensure that the results for all regular Bachelor of Arts, Sciences, and Commerce courses are declared by August 31." The University should also declare the results for the final semester of three and five year courses by August 31.Advocate Rodrigues said "the varsity has also had set up a "special help desk" to assist those students who wished to apply to foreign universities for higher studies, but were facing difficulties due to absence of their undergraduate mark sheets"."Three professors and the press relations officer from the university are helping students who wish to apply for higher studies.

Taking this into account, around 70-75, 000 students are yet to get their results, ” said Arjun Ghatule, acting director, board of examinations and evaluation.
